Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

DEMO Questions

Q: How can I anonymously check this out? (i.e., no portal set up)

A: Go to the 'Demo' page, select the type of game and scoring type and then click on the "Start Demo" button.  However, before you do that, we recommend that you "customize" the settings.  When you customize the settings, you can change names and colors.  After you click the "Start Demo" button, it will create a unique URL (displayed at top).  It is recommended that you click on the URL to open a new browser window.  Save/bookmark the URL; you can pass it to others or come back to it later.  It is yours to use and play with.

Q: Can I use the demo URL to score games?

A: Yes.  It is a full functioning session.  However, the session will expire after 48 hours.  The FREE account URL never expires.

DEMO vs FREE Account

Q: What is the difference between a demo session and a FREE account?

A: The demo session allows for one customization of all games (i.e., names and colors).  The FREE account allows you to customize individual games, track historical games, allows selective scoring capabilities for select users, and enjoy other benefits as they are developed.  The demo session expires after two days regardless of usage whereas the the FREE account does not expire as long as it is used at least one time per year.

Q: Why wouldn't someone just create a FREE account?

A: The FREE account requires a user to use a valid email and password.  Some people do not want to share an email address.  The demo is only designed to let someone experience the basics of the application.

Q: Will you share or sell my personal information (e.g., name and email) with others?

A: No.  Your personal information will not be shared with, or sold to anyone for any reason.  We may occasionally send an email to you.  You may even opt out of any communications to you.
